Tracking

Whether you’re recording a full live band, a string section or a solo artist, Whitewood is set up to capture great performances. We regularly record full bands playing live, with plenty of space and a studio designed to get the best out of every session.

Overdubs

Both Studio 1 and Studio 2 are equipped with high-quality analogue equipment and an extensive microphone collection, making them ideal for recording vocals, guitars, drums, strings or any additional parts your project needs.

Mixing

We mix many of the records we record here at Whitewood, but we’re equally happy to mix projects recorded elsewhere. Whether your tracks come from another studio or a home setup, we’ll work with you to create a professional mix that stays true to your vision.

Online Mixing

If you can’t make it to the studio, we can stream the mix session live to your computer or phone. You’ll be able to listen in as we work, discuss ideas, and make changes in real time, making the process straightforward wherever you’re based.

Mastering

We use a combination of carefully chosen analogue outboard equipment and digital processing to produce musical, release-ready masters that sound great across a wide range of playback systems.

Between us, we have over 50 years of professional recording and mixing experience. If you’d like to improve your recording, mixing or production skills, we offer one-to-one tuition tailored to your experience and the areas you’d like to learn more about.
